Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath
Nicole Schoeppner is a sound explorer who uses various instruments, including gongs, chimes, strung, and crystal instruments. Nicole will create soothing harmonic sounds and gentle vibrations to encourage your mind and body to release and relax. Mike Curtis will lead the restorative yoga so that we will be in positions conducive to the experience. He will lead us into about 12 supported postures using bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Sound supports the yoga experience, and yoga supports the sound experience. We are bringing these two arts together for a greater positive outcome. While in this relaxed and aware state, the harmonic tones and vibrations will cleanse, recharge, and balance the mind, body, and spirit. The yoga restorative poses will also help us find relaxation, alignment, and balance. Energetically, emotionally and physically, you may feel tension slip away, replaced by feelings of well-being and ease.
Leave this sound bath feeling more relaxed, creative, and connected to your true heart-centered self. Any pain, tension, or anxiety felt before the session may be significantly reduced.
Please try to arrive by about 3:45 or 3:50, so we can welcome you and help you get set up. If, for some reason, you experience any problems trying to sign up, don’t worry–we can do it at the door.
