Hand Hammered Singing Bowls are a great addition to any wellness, mindfulness, and/or Meditation Practice. Bell Metal is melted, poured into a basic shape, then hand-hammered to bring out the beautiful sound textures of the bell metal. Each bowl is unique, with many noticeable overtones that give layers of hypnotic harmonics. Notes and frequencies are measured by a tuning device and recorded with the note with the longest sustain. There are an infinite number of overtones. Yet, typically only 3-8 are noticed. Metal bowls are played best with a soft strike and allow space to express all of their rich overtones. Rubbing can also be achieved and makes for great mindful movement meditation.
